Once again, Plone will be exhibiting at the IMS 2009 Expo. IMS, together with the Online Information 2009 conference, takes place the 2nd - 4th December at Earls Court Olympia, London.

Online Information and IMS together create the largest event dedicated to the information industry.

Consisting of an exhibition delivering over 9,000 visitors from 70 countries, a conference and a show floor seminar programme, the event provides an annual meeting place for the global information industry.

Once again, Plone - an Open Source Web Content Management (WCM) System - will be exhibiting at the event. Come along to stand 264 and find out more about Plone and how to get the best out of Open Source software. See demos of Plone in action, and case studies of some of the thousands of successful Plone deployments around the world.

The Plone stand will be manned this year by British web development company, Netsight, and is part funded by the Plone Foundation.

Thousands of organizations around the world including Akamai, eBay, the CIA, and Oxfam use Plone to customize and develop websites and intranets that evolve with their organizations’ changing needs.

Plone is available in over 40 languages, can be deployed on all platforms and is not locked to a single vendor. The Plone ecosystem is composed of thousands of developers, over 300 Plone providers in 60 countries, user groups all over the world, several books and 24-hour support forums and commercial support channels.

Matt Hamilton, Technical Director or Netsight, will be presenting a case study on The Flexibility of Open Source, a Case Study of a Large Corporate Intranet in Theatre A at 11.15 on Wednesday, 2nd December.
