Hosted by the Zope UK Association this one-day event will provide a platform for the promotion of Zope-based open source technologies within the UK.

Aidan McGuire of Blue Fountain Systems Ltd., an event sponsor, said, "Following the successful launch of the Zope UK Association earlier this year, this conference will provide an ideal opportunity to see a number of product demonstrations and case studies, all of which highlight the growing demand for Zope solutions within both the public and private sectors."

Matt Hamilton of Netsight Internet Solutions Ltd and UK director of the Plone Foundation added "The seminar is open to everyone who has an interest in Zope with particular emphasis on the business or power user. The event will also include information on value added products, and services together with details of integrators who can deploy them."

Rob Page, CEO of Zope Corporation, stated "It is important that we build a global strategy for the development of Zope as an industry standard. By bringing together the leading organizations in the UK we hope to develop working protocols which will allow everyone to maximize the potential of Zope".
